Merry Xmas and Happy New Year 2011

Little man got these two presents for Christmas from GinGin and KB. He had so much fun this Christmas. I have been very busy cooking and cleaning for Christmas. We have had a wonderful holiday couple of weeks. We thoroughly enjoyed having our kids and family for Christmas Day. Then on Monday, the 27th we headed to Shreveport to the Casinos to help mom and dad celebrate their 58th wedding anniversary. It was great fun!! KB was able to take off for a few days.

I so enjoy reading blogs and I really want to share some beautiful moments in my life.  This is our precious little grandson in his best!!! He is absolutely adorable and we enjoy him so much.

I am making candles again!!! So excited. I Love Em!! Take a look

My best friend and I made candles up in the Texas Panhandle and now that we've moved to Central Texas and she's moved to the gulf coast of Texas, I decided to make candles once more.  I gave a lot of them for Christmas and just got another batch made today.  I'm hoping to make some special scents for Valentines and upcoming holidays.  If interested just shoot me an e-mail and I'll send you some wonderful Triple scented candles.

Fun at GinGin's

Our precious grandbaby came to stay with us a couple of weekends ago.  We had so much fun!!  We cooked waffles the next morning.  He is such a good boy.  I had gone to a barrel race with Shani, to keep W) and when I was leaving their house, I asked him if he wanted to come home with me and he said yes. I thought he would probably cry when we headed out of the driveway, but he was actually fine the whole time he was with us.  We did take him home the next day, but we're ready for him to come back soon.

Had a Blast in Roundtop!!

I am so lucky to have this special and kind of unique relationship with my best friend Tracy. You see she and I are best friends and our daughters are the same age and they are BFF's also!!! Isn't it crazy. Well, the first of this month we decided to all meet up at my house and head down by the Texas capital and attend this wonderful antique alley at Roundtop, TX. It was absolutely delightful. We had a wonderful, CRAZY time with our 19 year old daughters. Hope we get to do this again before too long.

Huntin'

Shani and Jack found out very quickly that Wes likes everything that guys like to do. They took him out while the guys were shootin skeet and he LOVED it. He also loves to play cowboys and indians with his mama. They play and he says "dang" "dang", instead of bang, bang. He is just the cutest!!! We got to see him last weekend and we hadn't seen him for a couple of weeks. It was so fun and he is starting to talk more and more. That's when his daddy and grandad decided that he needed a Red Ryder gun, with no B B's in it. It's taller than he is, but he doesn't want anybody messin' with his gun.

LOOK AT W ON THE TUBE!

He absolutely loved it!!! Just kept taking and talking! GinGin went real slow and he had mommie and Aunt Holly right there with him. Isn't it amazing how much he has grown since last summer. Such a little boy now! We always have so much fun with him when we are all together. We had another great time at the lake, but the guys didn't catch many fish and they fished all night one night, I think it wore the old grandpa KB out. He was trying to keep up with the young guys, HAHA. I got to spend the night with Shani and sleep in W's bed. It was late when we got to their house cause he had a tummy ache and needed some medicine which we didn't have at the lake, so we went to their house. It was nice to stay at their house for the night and the next morning Wes said, GinGin, come here, talking about me coming into Shan's bed and gettin in bed with them. Then I got to laugh and play with him. He's really a morning kid, gets that from Great Granddad Mac. Well, got to go think about school.

Tracy's B and B

Tracy's new home is just beautiful and she has such a knack for decorating. It seems like however she places decorations they just look perfect. Here is the precious bedroom where we stayed it is decorated for her daughter.

We are having a blast!

Rockport Texas is along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. There is a really neat place to eat a cajun crawfish boil. The Boiling Pot is great. We are having such a good time.

I love to make jewelry. I would love to sell some, but it seems like whenever I get something made either I want to keep it or give it to my daughters.These are just a few of the pieces that I have made.

I LOVE MY KB

We were able to go see the kids about 35 miles away on Saturday and we love to eat at a mexican restaurant there, so while we were eating little man got kind of tired of sitting so KB took him to look at the games. There was one with a steering wheel and one with a gun so he and KB played those a while.

The last time little man came to our house to spend the night we had a good time outside.

him a little tight. But I love him! I sure had a good time with my Aunt Holly. Then my mommy and daddy came and all the big kids had a water fight, I think my daddy got Aunt Holly REALLY GOOD! HAHA

BLUE HAD HER BABY

Our blue roan mare had her colt last night, I guess. It is a red roan horse colt with a blaze face and stocking feet. She seems to always make us wait so long. Shani is headed out there to the pasture where the mares and colts are. I will have pictures as soon as Shani sends some to me. I hear he is really a pretty colt. Shani took these pictures when she went to the pasture. She told Wes, "Oh, it's a bitty baby!" and he said "Ohhhhhhhhh". He loves the horses. He has really pretty markings and he will be a good horse. Just like his brother from last year. KB said it was about time to geld Ringo.
